How does it work

The course consists of 8+ PHP lessons each lasting approximately 1 hour together with a homework challenge, Through these lessons and homework you quickly begin to understand PHP. I teach up to 2 sessions a week which provides enough time for you to learn the material from each module and solve the challenges. Above all, its fun.

What will you need

First things first. You need an environment to work in which supports the technology. The environment is installed on your computer and will become your development area. You need to install some software and configure it to use your environment. This software stack has an acronym of WAMP (Windows, Apache, Mysql, PHP) you may also hear the alternative LAMP (Linux etc. ).

In earlier times we would have to install each piece of this technology stack separately and then configure each in turn to work with the other. Now we have a number of options to help us install and configure the lot in one go.
