The course covers all the basics which will help you progress through the language at a steady pace and set you on the right path to take your skills further. Possibly into a professional environment.

What is PHP

PHP is a general-purpose scripting language originally designed for web development to produce dynamic web pages. For this purpose, PHP code is embedded into the HTML source document and interpreted by a web server with a PHP processor module, which generates the web page document

PHP can be used to query a database, Store data, Implement secure pages, Handle email, E-commerce. and loads more

As a web developer you would be expected to have a working knowledge of a scripting language like PHP so what better way to learn one from a professional developer, 1-2-1

How does it work?

After you have committed to the course we will chat over Skype to introduce ourselves, break the ice and set up a booking slot. We will also discuss why you want to learn PHP. Whether that be for a project, you want to advance your skills or you are just really interested in web development. Next we will cover what software you will need to complete the course. Don't worry, the software is free.

We use Teamviewer remoting software. This allows our machines to connect together. This will allow me to code and for you to follow. You host this connection which gives you complete control.

We use Skype to communicate together and relay the course material.. Skype provides the best quality reception around the world so this was an obvious choice.

How long does it take?

I have broken this down into 12 modules and cover 1 or 2 in an hour depending on difficulty. I also set challenging homework to help you carry on studying until we meet next. It normally takes 8 sessions although if you have trouble with a lesson we will go over it until you understand.
